New Services and Procedural Changes
The two most important changes in technology classroom services involve microphones and cabinet combination lock access.
Faculty no longer need to pre-order a wireless lapel microphone from ITSS. They are “self service” and available at all times inside the locked technology cabinets. You must receive a teaching station combination in advance if you intend to use a microphone or have access to the technology.
If you require more than one microphone, you must place an advance order by calling the ITSS service desk at 645-2803 or use the online request form click here.
UB Video on Demand (UBvod):
UBvod uses a dedicated media server to stream high-resolution videos on-campus over the UB network. More than 75 course-related instructional videos from the Instructional Technology Support Services Media Library can now be accessed in Technology Classrooms via a quick link on the desktop, or viewed on your office computer using Internet Explorer or Firefox 2. Scoring Services South Campus Drop-Off Changes
Beginning with the Fall 2008 Semester, Scoring Service clients can only drop off exams at 344 Abbott Hall, the new ITSS South Campus location. Our office is open between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday. Read more...
