Audio Services:
ITS provides two digital audio services, Digital Lecture Hall Recordings and Digital Language Tape Recordings. Each service digitally captures and stores recorded content for student access via the web. All recordings are secure and available only to University at Buffalo students. Students must enter a valid UBIT username and password for access to recordings.
Digital Lecture Hall Recordings:
Instructional Technology Services offers the Digital Lecture Hall Recordings service. Specially equipped North and South Campus lecture halls are capable of digitally recording classroom lectures. Digital Langauge Tape Recordings:
Instructional Technology Services offers the Digital Langauge Tape Recordings service. Foreign language faculty may request language recordings be made available for student access via the web. Language recordings will be digitized and uploaded to UB’s Helix streaming server in Real Audio and MP3 format. Students may download the recordings and save them or may review the recordings via streaming technology. For a listing of available recordings click here.
